Itinerary
Day 1 – Los Kilómetros – Maloca Murui – House Tree – Nightwalk
Reception in Leticia at the Alfredo Vásquez Cobo International Airport. Transfer to the Maloca Murui where a cultural exchange is generated, in the company of the taita or wise grandfather, about the cosmogony, traditional foods and ritual space. Lunch.
Departure to the tree house and installation. Dinner and night walk discovering some of the inhabitants of the jungle. Overnight in the tree house.
Day 2 Leticia – Natural Reserve
Breakfast. Departure to Leticia, visit the market square and continue to the dock to take the private boat to the selected Natural Reserve of Marasha or Natamu in a journey of approximately 1h30 by the Amazon River.
Entrance to the reserve, walk through the jungle (approximately 1h30) appreciating the ancient trees, in times of high water you enter by canoe. Activities in the reserve such as recreational fishing, kayaking in the surroundings of the reserve and observation of fauna and flora.
Lunch. Night canoe trip to observe the freshwater caiman. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Mocagua – Maikuchiga Foundation – Puerto Nariño
Breakfast. Departure by private boat to the community of Mocagua (Tikuna ethnic group), with an approximate time of 1h30 by the Amazon River. Arrival, tour of the village and environmental interpretation walk to the Maikuchiga foundation or house of the monkeys that works for the rehabilitation and conservation of primates especially the churuco monkey. Return to Mocagua and lunch with an indigenous family.
Departure to Puerto Nariño by private native boat with a duration of approximately 20 minutes. Arrival, installation in selected hotel in Puerto Nariño and tour of the town where you can see sculptures of the Amazonian fauna and ascend to the viewpoint from where you can see the Amazon River, the Loretoyacu River, the lakes and the rainforest. Dinner and overnight in Puerto Nariño at the selected hotel.
Day 4 Puerto Nariño – Natutama Foundation – Knowledge and Flavors experience – Tarapoto Lakes
Breakfast. At the indicated time departure by shared boat to the city of Leticia. According to the flight schedule, transfer to the airport or activities in Leticia.
Breakfast. Walking tour to the Natutama interpretative center where you can appreciate the ecosystems of the jungle in high and low waters, as well as the characteristics of the river fauna (dolphins, manatees, turtles, fish, birds, among others).
Experience of Amazonian Flavors and Knowledge where you will share with a grandmother of the Tikuna ethnic group, the preparation of patarasca traditional dish and Amazonian fruits, time to enjoy lunch.
Then, departure to the Post Office Lakes and Tarapoto Lakes, Ramsar ecosystem where you will have the chance to observe pink and gray dolphins (in low water the dolphins will be observed at the mouth of the river).Return, dinner and overnight in Puerto Nariño at the selected hotel.
Day 5 Puerto Nariño – Leticia – Vásquez Cobo Airport
Breakfast. At the indicated time departure by shared boat to the city of Leticia. According to the flight schedule, transfer to the airport or activities in Leticia
*Depending on the schedule and itinerary of the program, we recommend visiting the ethnographic museum of Leticia at no additional cost or visiting Tabatinga in Brazil for an additional cost.
The experience ends, the memories begin.

- Accommodations: 1 night at the Kilometers Natural Reserve (Tanimboca or Acapu), 1 night at the Natural Reserve (Marasha or Natamu) and 2 nights at the municipality of Puerto Nariño (Hotel Waira Selva or Maloka Napu) in selected accommodations.
- Full meals from lunch on the first day to breakfast on the last day.
- Filtered water (it is recommended to bring a bottle to refill) and seasonal fruit during the tours.
