Venture on a tour through the kilometers of the Amazon rainforest with an encounter with the cosmogony of the Murui-Huitoto ethnic group, and at night, enjoy the experience of sleeping in the tree house, with the possibility of observing nocturnal fauna and feeling the nocturnal jungle in complete safety.
The journey continues along the Amazon River towards the Peruvian Marasha or Natamü reserve to observe birds, engage in activities such as artisanal fishing, canoeing and at night go out to meet the Yacaré or Amazonian alligator.
Continuing sailing along the Amazon River towards the Ticuna community of Mocagua, sharing their knowledge and their current relationship with the jungle. Walk to the Maikuchiga Foundation, lunch with an indigenous family tasting the products of the farm and the river. In Puerto Nariño you will visit the Natutama Interpretive Center and the Tarapoto Lakes where you will have the opportunity to observe the pink and gray dolphins.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Los Kilómetros – Maloca Murui – House Tree – Nightwalk
Reception by our specialized guide at the Vasquez Cobo airport in the city of Leticia.
Transfer to the Maloca Murui where a cultural exchange takes place, in the company of the taita or wise grandfather, on cosmogony, traditional foods and ritual space. Lunch.
Departure to the tree house in the selected reserve and installation. Dinner and night walk
discovering some of the inhabitants of the jungle. Accommodation in the tree house.
Day 2 Leticia – Natural Reserve
Breakfast, departure in the private boat in the morning towards the selected Nature Reserve (Marasha or Natamü) on an approximate 1h30 journey along the Amazon River.
Entrance to the reserve, walk through the jungle (approximately 1h30) appreciating the ancient trees. During the high water season, you enter by canoe. Activities in the reserve include recreational fishing, kayaking in the surroundings of the reserve and observation of fauna and flora.
Lunch, night canoe trip to observe the freshwater alligator.
Dinner and accommodation.
Day 3 Mocagua – Maikuchiga Foundation – Puerto Nariño
Breakfast. Departure by private boat to the community of Mocagua (Tikuna ethnic group), with an approximate time of 1h30 on the Amazon River.
Arrival, tour of the village and its painted houses. Then, walk for environmental interpretation to the Maikuchiga Foundation or house of the monkeys, which works for the rehabilitation and conservation of primates, especially the churuco monkey.
Return to Mocagua and lunch with an indigenous family.
Departure to Puerto Nariño on a private native boat lasting approximately 20 minutes. Arrival, check-in at the selected hotel in Puerto Nariño and tour of the town where you can see sculptures of the Amazonian fauna and climb to the viewing point from where you can see the Amazon River, the Loretoyacu River, the lakes and the rainforest.

DAY 4: Puerto Nariño – Natutama Foundation – Knowledge and Flavors – Tarapoto Lakes
Breakfast. Walking tour to the Natutama interpretive center where you can appreciate the
ecosystems of the jungle in high and low waters, as well as the characteristics of the river fauna (dolphins, manatees, turtles, fish, birds, among others).
Experience of Amazonian Flavors and Knowledge where you will share with a grandmother of the Tikuna ethnic group, the preparation of patarasca, a traditional dish, and Amazonian fruits, time to enjoy lunch.
Then, depart towards the Correo Lakes and the Tarapoto Lakes, a Ramsar ecosystem where you will have the chance to observe pink and grey dolphins (in low waters the dolphins will be observed at the mouth of the river).
Return, dinner and accommodation in Puerto Nariño at the selected hotel.
DAY 5: Puerto Nariño – Leticia – Vásquez Cobo Airport
Breakfast. Departure to Leticia by public boat.
According to the flight schedule (it is imperative that passengers have their return flight
from 11:30 am so that they can board the shared boat. If passengers return earlier,will
charge an additional fee to hire a private boat service) transfer to the airport or activities in Leticia are carried out.
*Depending on the opening hours and program itinerary, it is recommended to visit the
ethnographic museum of Leticia at no additional cost or visit Tabatinga in Brazil for an additional fee.
End of the experience, beginning of memories.

- It should be noted that in summer (late July to late November) the river dries up and passengers must be transported in a wooden boat to the raft where the rapids come out. For this reason, a luggage charge of $80,000 per person is charged.
